The jobholder will supervise the execution of installation and maintenance activities related to equipment within his domain both on site and/or in the drilling workshop. This includes checking manufacturers’ as built drawings, confirming conformity to purchase order and verifying accuracy of received equipment; plan maintenance activities and determine appropriate procedures, ensure availability of required materials, spares and equipment, liaise with operations in the areas of common concern; investigate and troubleshoot equipment problems; ensure optimum utilization of contracted wireline services and participate in administering contracts within his domain and supervise the maintenance and repairs of equipment at local workshops. Ideal candidate will hold a B.Sc. degree in petroleum engineering or related engineering discipline with a minimum of 5-7 years experience in drilling including 2 years’ well site experience and 2-3 years in drilling, completion and/or wireline equipment operations and procurement.
Salary: Basic – Dhs. 8,975/- to Dhs. 11,070/- p.m., married accommodation plus one time furniture allowance, educational assistance, medical, insurance, 38 working days annual paid leave with air tickets for self and family.
Based in Abu Dhabi, this is a Direct Hire position for a period of 2 years (renewable).
